چکیده
Polypropylene fibers are added to concrete improve the toughness of material. Manufactured sand and fly ash with high content used reduce impact on environment cost. The response surface method (RSM) was design test study mechanical bending properties polypropylene-fiber-reinforced high-performance (PPFHPC). Three process variables, including polypropylene fiber (1%, 1.5%, 2%), (45%, 60%, 75%), water-binder (W/B) ratio (0.27, 0.3, 0.33), were considered as factors. compressive strength, flexural flexural-compressive ratio, splitting tensile first-crack strength thin plate evaluated. prediction model established by RSM showed correlation predictability between factors, corresponding relationship equation factors obtained. Results multiobjective optimization indicated that optimal three (content PPF, FA, W/B) 2%, 62%, 0.27. can be predict basic materials. This laid a theoretical foundation for development PPFHPC

Mechanical properties of polypropylene-fiber reinforced concrete after gamma irradiation
Fiber reinforced concretes (FRCs) exhibit property improvement caused by the fibers. By using gamma radiation we have further improved mechanical properties of hydraulic concretes elaborated with Portland cement, water, silica sand, marble and polypropylene (PP) fibers. Compression strength, compression modulus, impact strength and dynamic elastic modulus were determined. Impact fatigue testing...

Polypropylene Fiber Reinforced Concrete is an embryonic construction material which can be described as a concrete having high mechanical strength, Stiffness and durability. By utilization of Polypropylene fibers in concrete not only optimum utilization of materials is achieved but also the cost reduction is achieved. This paper presents a comprehensive review on various aspects Polypropylene F...
متن کاملGlass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene Mechanical Properties Enhancement by Adhesion Improvement
Glass fibers (GF) are the reinforcement agent most used in polypropylene (PP) based composites, as they have good balance between properties and costs. However, their final properties are mainly determined by the strength and stability of the polymer-fiber interphase. Fibers do not act as an effective reinforcing material when the adhesion is weak. Also, the adhesion between phases can be easil...

متن کاملProcessing and Mechanical Properties of Macro Polyamide Fiber Reinforced Concrete
This study developed a macro-sized polyamide (PA) fiber for concrete reinforcement and investigated the influence of the PA fiber on flexural responses in accordance with ASTM standards. PA fibers are advantageous compared to steel fibers that are corrosive and gravitated. The macro-sized PA fiber significantly improved concrete ductility and toughness. Unlike steel fibers, the PA fibers produc...
